Selina Behr

Institutional Relations Manager (Diplomatic Relations)

Selina (she/her) was born in Germany, but life has taken her across the globe, having lived in the US, the UK, and Spain. Driven by her commitment to environmental governance, she went on to earn a
Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Governance from King’s College London.

Her professional journey began at GIZ, where she worked on sustainable food systems and stakeholder engagement under the global WE4F programme. She later joined the Secretariat of the
UNCCD, focusing on grant management and donor relations while actively supporting major international convenings, including COP16 and COP17.

Having cared deeply about environmental issues from a young age, Selina is dedicated to incorporating this drive throughout her life to contribute to lasting, positive change. She firmly believes that collaboration and intergenerational dialogue lie at the very foundation of catalyzing meaningful environmental progress.

Outside of work, Selina loves spending time outdoors in nature, connecting with friends, and unwinding behind a good book or by playing the guitar.
