YNA Programmes
The YNA delivers three programmes in-line with the organisation's mission. All work by equipping young leaders aged 18 - 35 who are nominated by their Country Focal Point (and who are guaranteed a meaningful role in their Party’s delegation) with the skills, knowledge, networks and resources they need to participate effectively on behalf of their country in environmental negotiations.
Why
We are currently facing a triple planetary crisis, affecting over 3.2 billion people globally.
This is a decisive decade, yet young people remain largely excluded from shaping the decisions that will define their future. Diverse representation, including minority groups, is key to fair and inclusive outcomes.

How
YNA addresses these interconnected global challenges effectively by creating a nexus between the Rio Conventions on Climate (UNFCCC), Biodiversity (CBD) and Land (UNCCD) through our programmes.
In doing so, we contribute to rebuilding trust in multilateralism and advancing more inclusive, intergenerational governance.
